Pharrell Williams' Black Ambition Mentorship Programs

From 2022 - now, I have been building Pharrell Williams' Black Ambition Mentorship Programs as a Director at Cinematica Labs. For each Black Ambition Mentorship Program, the Cinematica Labs team and I recruited, onboarded, and engaged 50+ culturally adaptive mentors for 250+ Black and Latine/x founders across sectors. Founders were small business owners, Zebra business owners, as well as startup hypergrowth businesses. We created entrepreneurship content and facilitation guides for mentors as well as designed virtual session spaces. We measured impact on founder wellbeing, resilient relationships, and company growth.

Impact:

500+ Black and Latine/x founders and 100+ mentors were engaged. We collected feedback surveys on all aspects of the program. NPS scores on “willingness to recommend this program” to others for each program increased on an annual basis, resulting in high NPS scores above the industry average for accelerator programming.
